I am now using the latest version RC08D, i dunno if it is a compatibility issue but when i use the navigation function of the keypad, u can no longer access the option button (left & right sofkeys) os some apps e.g. sms options, smart explorer en etc. & the fade effects dont work on my fone either but im not expecting it to work on my old phone. Lols

STK problems - had to hard reset my Moto Q9h!

I am not happy at all with STK. Sure, I loved the interface, who wouldn't! In fact, I liked the interface so well, I could deal with all the lockups and incompatibilities with Facade and things like media player starting whenever I would start STK.
What did it for me was last night when I used the STK start menu > system power > reboot function. Well, that feature sure does what it says. My MotoQ 9h did nothing but reboot for over an hour! I took the battery out several times and tried everything I could to get the rebooting to stop. But that's not all! While this was going on, I lost all my network, phone setting, etc.
I kept trying to get the rebooting to stop to no avail. I had to hard reset, causing me hours of wasted time with reinstallations. Definitely not happy with STK. Sure it's a great interface and has lot of potential. But at this point in time, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I will keep my eyes on the forum to see if some of these issues are addressed and corrected.
One other thing. The default install should work best for 'everyone' and 'every device'. If you have to go into hot keys and settings and start deleting things and making other adjustments right away, something is wrong. Keep it simple and let us folks add what features 'we' want.

Agreed, for a software with such big goals and potential, it has terrible support and development cycle. It has been forever since this version has been out and they most certainly know about all the problems by now but they don't care. I guess free = lack of pride in one's work. I installed it in response to recommendations by professional peers and only ended up being seriously sorry. Biggest waste of time ever.
